Online2PDF.com is a very simple and efficient tool available online to deal with your pdf documents. There is no software to download or install. You can just do the conversion online. Simply upload your file, select from and to formats and click on Convert!

You can convert files from various formats to PDF as well as convert from PDF to Word, Excel, Powerpoint and many other formats. You may convert one file at a time or multiple files in one go. You can even merge files, split files, convert specific pages, rotate pages, etc. etc. The entire process takes place over a secured connection and your files are immediately deleted.

Similar Sites improves your browsing experience by suggesting sites which are similar to your favourite sites. You just have to visit www.similarsites.com and paste your favourite site url in the space provided and voila! It will list out the sites which are similar to the one selected – it is that simple.

The website also gives you the option to add an extension to Chrome which allows you to do the same seamlessly. When you are on a site you like, just click on the Similar Sites extension on the top right and the same functionality will be available to you right from your favourite browser.

A very simple and elegant way of browsing similar sites, when you are  doing research or just browsing!

GBoard – the smart keyboard from Google

captureGBoard, the smart keyboard from Google has been upgraded. Apart from the various stuff that all keyboards do, predictive text, swipe, multiple language support, etc., GBoard also allows you to Search Google and share, right from your keyboard!

For example, when you are typing a mail or text or Whatsapp on your phone, sometimes, you need to give directions and sometimes you need to give a link to a product or service, or even a website. Doing that from your phone can be pretty tedious – exit the message, go to the link and copy the link address and then get back to your original message and paste it. GBoard has a Google link on the top left of the keyboard – if you tap on that, you can search almost anything in Google (including Maps), go to the link and then with a single tap, include that link in your message!

Pretty neat and straightforward. Try it out, you will be saving lots of time and energy!!  Installing a keyboard is pretty simple on Android. Just go to the Play Store, install the keyboard and then open the settings area and choose Language and keyboard, and select the new keyboard of your choice.

Share your location through WhatsApp

whatsappMany times, we need to send our current location to our friends / relatives. Doing so from other apps is not so convenient.

WhatsApp allows us to send our current location directly to the receiver in 3 easy steps – 1. Select the person or group to whom you wish to send your current location; 2. Select Attachment (the paper-clip shaped icon) on the top right of your screen 3. From the list of options shown, select Location, and send – that’s it. Your location will be immediately visible to the receiver(s) on their own phones on Google Maps.

This simple trick will save you lots of time and help you communicate your location speedily and efficiently!
