How I work – 14 – Remember the Milk
This is one of my favorite task managers. You can enter the tasks by date and time, give priority to each task by assigning colors and best of all, you can manage your tasks from anywhere – your phone (there is a version each for android, ipad & blackberry phones) or your computer.
You can manage your tasks offline, integrate them with Google Calendar. Sharing of tasks is easy and so is getting reminders – by Email, by Instant Messenger or by SMS
In short, it is the best way to manage tasks – Never Forget the Milk or anything else again !

How I work – 16 – ATM Locator
This one is extremely useful when one is in a new place and would like to withdraw cash.
This application can be used to locate nearest ATM centers of all available banks in India.
It works without using GPS. You can get a list of Public ATM centers available within 1000 meters in a sorted order from nearest to farthest. You also have an option to get a quick map view which is integrated in the application.
You can also get address, phone number (if available) of the nearest ATM center. Keeping in mind Indian customers optimized in such a way that it works great even in 2G internet connection.
Very good for emergencies and late nights !
How I work – 13 – Fast Burst Camera
Many costly phones have this feature – in a single click, you take many shots (as many as 30 per second) and then select the best one – maybe where the smile is best or the eyes are not closed.
This simple app, allows you to do just that. It takes upto 30 shots per second. Just hold the shoot button for continuous burst. There is no lag. The full, paid version also supports flash, focus and zoom.
The app is great for sports shots, pictures of kids or pets or even analyse your cricketing action, frame by frame !

How I work – 12 – Sirens & Horns
This one is just for making noise ! It has a variety of Sirens and Horns which you can play at will, for fun, entertainment or just to irritate a friend !
What you will find here are ambulance sirens, police sirens, different types of bugles, Air Raid, Air Horns, etc. etc. Each of them is an actual, high quality, loud sound which is fully realistic. The sounds are updated often for your hearing pleasure, with new ones being added periodically.

How I work – 10 – Magnifier
Download the Magnifier app for free on your phone. And what does it do ? It just magnifies ! This simple app uses the in-built camera of your phone to magnify the material to which you point and displays it on your screen – pretty cool for older people and also reading the fine print for the not-so-old ! You can adjust the zoom with the help of the on-screen slider or with the Volume Control buttons on your phone. It also has a built-in sensor, which senses low light – if you are trying to read something in poor light, it will also activate the flash of your phone, so you can read it like normal.
How I work – 8 – Simple Unit Converter
Many times, one needs to make simple unit conversions without wading through a complex calculator. The Simple Unit Converter does just that ! Once you download and run the app, you are presented with a simple screen with the following options : Length, Volume, Weight, Temperature, Speed and Others. Just tap on any one, based on your need and choose the units to and from. Voila ! You get the conversions instantly. A must have for those who have children abroad, who quote the temperatures in Fahrenheit and go crazy trying to figure them in Centigrades !
