SelectText is a Chrome Extension that allows you to copy text from Videos. You can copy any on-screen text directly from any videos, including YouTube, Udemy, Coursera, SkillShare, videos. Powered by the latest Computer Vision (OCR) technology, it supports 50+ languages.
Using SelectText is very simple. Just install the extension in your browser and make it active. Once done, whenever you view any video online, and where there is too much text on screen, you can pause the video. Automatically, the SelectText icon will appear on the top left of the video. Just click on the icon and it will identify all the text in that frame. Once you select the text, you can copy and paste it anywhere else, normally. You can even copy website addresses and URLs which are displayed in the video.
